Lindsay Durbin has spent her adult life working in the business world. She held executive positions at a large local electric utility for a decade, from VP of Energy Services to CFO to VP of Human Resources. In each of those roles, she was faced with managing limited resources and endless fires, thus she honed her problem-solving skills. Before taking on executive roles, she held utility positions in purchasing, accounting, energy services, RTO/ISO settlements, market research, strategic planning, and risk management. Her breadth of understanding of the energy business is expansive, making her well-positioned to help navigate administrative proceedings before the PSC, negotiate energy contracts, and provide energy-related civil litigation counsel.
In her prior role as Vice President of Human Resources, Lindsay spent several years focusing on employment related issues at a large local utility. Having served as lead negotiator on multiple union contract negotiations, she knows what it takes to reach a contract agreement that works for both sides. During her tenure, Lindsay negotiated two 5-year union contracts while maintaining positive union relations. Likewise, she has managed workforce reductions, pay and incentive structure changes, workforce development programs, corporate insurance plans, and pension and benefit plans and policies. Lindsay also managed the corporate safety program during her tenure. She is an aggressive negotiator but understands how to find common ground and resolution.
